Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

MBSR
MBSRÂ is an acronym for ‘Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.’ It is the brain child of Jon Kabat-Zinn and has become the most well-researched mindfulness intervention since its inception in 1979. MBSR is an 8-week specific protocol to used to introduce the basic practices of mindfulness, using both the body in stillness and motion, as well as thoughts and emotions as objects of meditation. I teach this class online to people with cystic fibrosis and their loved ones or caretakers. Check back to see when the next offering will be.
